Write to hello@journeymind.app and a person will answer. JourneyMind is small and in private testing, so it may take a day or two — but it is a real inbox, not a ticket queue.
Can I try it?
Not yet, unless we’ve written to you. JourneyMind is in private testing and we’re inviting people a few at a time, so that we can actually read what everyone tells us.
Leave your email and we’ll write when there’s a build worth your time. If you are invited, we’ll ask for the email address attached to your Apple Account — that’s what TestFlight invitations are sent to. On Android we’ll send you a link instead.
What languages does it speak?
The app is in English, Spanish, French, Arabic, Hindi, and Simplified and Traditional Chinese. You can write your notes in any language you like — the app doesn’t mind, and neither does the album.
The album prints what you wrote, in the language you wrote it. Nothing is translated on its way onto the page, and nothing is rewritten.
Where does my writing go?
Onto servers in the United States, behind a sign-in. Nothing is public, nothing is shared with other parents, and nothing is sold or used for advertising. To produce the weekly reflections and the prompts, the text of your notes is sent to OpenAI for processing.
The whole picture — what is collected, who processes it, and how long it is kept — is in the Privacy Policy.
Is the album really printed?
Not by us. JourneyMind lays out the pages and gives you a print-ready 8×8 inch PDF, which you can send to any printer you like. We don’t print books and we don’t post anything.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: open your account from the top bar, then Delete account. It asks for your password first.
This does not currently erase everything, and the wording inside the app overstates what it does. Deleting removes your sign-in and clears your name, photo and time zone. The entries and photos themselves stay in the database, because the same journal can belong to a second parent and deleting one account should not destroy the other’s copy.
If you want your child’s notes and photos erased as well, write to hello@journeymind.app and we will do it by hand. We are changing this so it no longer needs a person.
Can I get my notes out?
Yes, but by asking rather than by pressing a button — there is no export feature yet. Write to hello@journeymind.app from the address on your account and we’ll send you your entries and photos.
Something is broken
Please tell us — during a private test, a bug report is the most useful thing you can send. It helps if you can include:
- what you were doing, and what happened instead
- your phone and its OS version
- roughly when it happened
- a screenshot, if it was something you could see
Never include your password. We will never ask for it.
